Floyd Mayweather announced his retirement
FLoyd Mayweather announced his retirement from boxing again yesterday.
Mayweather said in a statement. "I have decided to permanently retire from boxing. This decision was not an easy one for me to make as boxing is all I have done since I was a child. However, these past few years have been extremely difficult for me to find the desire and joy to continue in the sport.
"I have said numerous times and after several of my fights over the past two years that I might not fight again. At the same time, I loved competing and winning and also wanted to continue my career for the fans, knowing they were there for me and enjoyed watching me fight. However, after many sleepless nights and intense soul-searching I realized I could no longer base my decision on anything but my own personal happiness, which I no longer could find. So I have finally made up my mind, spoken to my family, particularly my mother, and made my decision."

Justin Gatlin suspended
The US Anti-Doping Agency declared a 4years suspension to 100 meter olympic champion Justin Gatlin. Justin found positive on drug test for using illegal substance.
Justin Gatlin was the fastest athlete on 2004 Athens Olympics. He won the 100meter dash competition. The suspension will last until May 24, 2010 so he cannot join in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

South Korean boxer Choi Yo-sam declared brain dead. Choi will put into life support system. Last December 25, 2007..
Choi holds his World Boxing Organization title against Indonesian challenger Heri Amol.. But Choi collapse after their fighte. Choi was sent to hospital.

Titan wins over Houston Texans
Rob Bironas makes an NFL record of 8 field goals that leads to Titans to win a 38-36 score over Houston Texans yesterday.
The last two field goals of ROb Bironas were from 29yards, Bironas connected from 52,43,25,21, 30 and 28 yards to break the old record of seven field goals by Billy Cundiff, Chris Boniol, Rich Karlis and Jim Bakken. "I was like, "I've almost kicked as many as weve kicked the whole season, Rob Bironas said. I'll take them when we need them."
